Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data Fugaku Bot (the "Bot") — an anti-scam moderation bot for the KittenSwap Discord community — processes, how it is used, and the choices you have. The Bot operates only inside the Discord server it is configured for.

1. Data we process

• Message content is scanned in real time, in memory, to detect scam links, obfuscated URLs, Discord invite links, OAuth authorization scams, and mass-mention abuse. Message content is not stored in any database. Excerpts of violating messages are posted to private, staff-only Discord channels as a moderation audit trail (this data remains on Discord).
• Mention activity (user ID and timestamps of recent @-mentions) is tracked briefly in memory (a rolling 60-second window) for raid protection and discarded immediately after.
• A link whitelist — a list of allowed website addresses containing no personal data — is stored in our database and managed by server moderators.
• Discord user IDs appear transiently in enforcement records (e.g. a ban log entry posted to a staff channel on Discord).

The Bot does not collect or store email addresses, payment information, passwords, private keys, or any data beyond what is listed above.

2. How we use data

• Enforcing server rules and protecting members from scams (message scanning and automated moderation).
• Operating, debugging, and securing the Bot (transient operational logs).

We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or use message content to train machine-learning or AI models.

3. Data sharing

No data is shared with any other third party, except if required by law.

4. Storage, security, and retention

• The only stored data (the link whitelist) lives in an access-controlled database; the Bot runs on managed cloud hosting; connections use TLS.
• Moderation excerpts posted to Discord channels are governed by Discord and server staff.
• Operational logs are transient and rotate automatically; no message-content database exists.

5. Your choices

• Message scanning is part of server-wide moderation and cannot be opted out of while participating in the protected server; if you do not want messages scanned, do not post in servers where the Bot operates.
• You may contact the server's moderation team with questions about an enforcement record concerning you.

6. Children

The Bot is intended for users who meet Discord's minimum age requirement (13, or higher where local law requires). We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this page, with the effective date shown above.
